2026 Championship Bracket

2026 Championship Bracket
#

Unlike the regular season races or previous championships, the 2026 championship is formatted as a one-on-one, single elimination tournament. The bracket is populated by the 18 auto-qualifiers from the regular season (top-3 finishers of each of the 6 season races), plus 6 wild-card racers.

Bracket seeds are determined by average times during the regular season. The wild-card racers assume the last 6 seeds, and are ordered by their points total. No reseeding occurs during the race.

Wild-card system
#

Wild-card racers are determined by a points system during the regular season. They are meant to reward racers that perform well but don’t win, as well as those that participate at multiple races.

Points are awarded as follows:

  • The 4th place finisher receives points equal to the number of racers at the race.
  • Each finisher after 4th gets one less point than the racer that finished above them.
  • The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place racers do not receive any wild-card points, as they’ve earned an auto-qualifier.
  • If a racer enters two cars in a race, their second car does not earn any points.
